THE TAUS

The scientists created many different races and species on Trolli. The main races include the Taus, the Tunt, the Tiff, Humans, Merfolk, and Flits.

TAUS

The Taus, first known as the Tauncher, is a race was designed to exist on planets with very little gravity. They are huge beings but very lithe, their muscles are elongated but very tough. They have wide nearly webbed feet. Taus are blessed with an abundance of endurance. They are great with animals, the world’s greatest horsemen and breeders of livestock. They are shrewd very smart as a whole. Though not builders they love solid homes, workshops. Not fond of outdoors camping even they’re wagons are covered. They have handsome features, regal. Trim but full beards, short thick hair of all colors that is easily managed or “done” they also have a complete range of eye color though they’re eyes are larger and rounder than most races. They have strong but graceful hands. Arms and legs are long but proportioned to a solid torso. Square nails, and teeth except the incisors that are longer and very sharp. They are very quick and coordinated and make excellent dancers, swordsmen and gymnasts. Over 7-foot-tall (that’s 14 hands in Trolli) and 240 pounds (or stones). Excel at wrestling long distance running. They have large chests and lungs so are naturally a loud race. Think French lumberjack. Lots of light hair on the chest legs and arms. They are a very intense people taking responsibilities very seriously. They are quick to anger but quick to let it go as well. Although they are a loyal race, they are cold and pretty cruel to the elderly and weak, when a Taus’s abilities begin to dwindle they’re placement in the society falls quickly. They speak slowly, loudly, deliberately. They think things through thoroughly then do it until the task is complete, very reliable and true to their word. They a patient and long lived… 300 years (600 seasons). Taus rarely have more than one name but on occasion, (when there is property involved), they will have two, (one either passed down to the heir or made up by the property owner.

Taus favor coins with royal family images on them. Copper, silver, gold and platinum are created in one-ounce sizes. All of a uniform shape and size varying in thickness to make up for the weight differences.
