A.  L. Bentley, like all Gemini, has a wide view of the world. Almost everything, interests and that part of his personality, draws him into researching -- everything.

The curiosity that fuels his mind also has a skeptical side that questions most everything as well. Once a topic has caught his attention, he has to figure out if it is indeed practical or possible.

​

However; a major failing that is also a Gemini trait is, once Al figures something out and has assured himself it will work or that he can do it, he loses interest and has to struggle to complete tasks.

​

This, in turn has driven him to envision enormous undertakings in order to complete a sizeable portion and appear to have finished something although it is only a part of the whole project.

​

Al married a Libra. Libras are notorious for being finishers and balancing the highs and lows in others. It is greatly due to Lori’s nature that Al completes his undertakings.

 

A. L. began writing  technical documents, training guides and text books.

The structure, logic and conclusions necessary in training manuals help a great deal in the telling of his stories.

​

He has always been a fan of Science Fiction and Fantasy reading the works of J. R. Tolkien, Arthur C. Clarke, Ann McCaffrey, Heinlein, and Isaac Asimov, he also enjoys the character driven stories of Faulkner and Twain.

 

A. L. also has strong political and religious convictions which infiltrate every concept he portrays. His characters and communities reflect his view almost subconsciously.  

 

Combining the styles of his influence, Al has developed a simple  style, character driven and science backed but dipped in fantasy reflecting his dreams, beliefs,

and fantasies.

 

A. L.’s strongest wishes are to entertain his readers and induce thought provoking ideas while touching them emotionally.
