The Egg Wars is the second book, for now, in the series.

In this book we meet Allun Dunn, RaShee, Sol, Forbes, Marylene, Judy, Zurik, Raliegh Fingers, and a young Algor. There are many more to meet as well but these form the core of the story.

Allun and RaShee meet up in the Anada mountains. Allun is scouting for the family caravan and RaShee is an apprentice healer in the Merk tribe. Their escapades take them all around the western peninsula visiting port cities and farming communities. They travel with Smitty and his Norpoint caravan for the most part.

Allun is looking for his lost family. He has also contracted a new skill. He can see threads that no one else can. The threads turn out to be the core of magic and throughout the book he learns to manipulate them.

The discovery of magic is not his own though.
